Day 1 - SevillaDay 2 - Sevilla
Today, you and your guide will start your visit of Sevilla with a tour of the "Alcazar," a magnificent Palace originally built by the Moors, and expanded by King Peter the Cruel during the 14th century. It's presently used by the Spanish Monarchy as a residence
when in Sevilla, and for special government functions. Afterwards, join the locals on a popular horse and buggy ride which will take you to the beautiful Spanish Pavilion, built for the international World Fair in 1927. Enjoy lunch and savor the local cuisine in one of the
best restaurants found in this city. Rest of the day on your own. (B & L)
Day 3 - Cordoba
Today, you leave for Cordoba by train. Your tour guide will meet you at the station. Here the rich legacy left by Roman, Moorish and the Jewish communities of a former Golden Age are evident everywhere. After you've checked into your hotel, start your tour with a visit to
the magnificent "La Mezquita". This impressive former Mosque houses over 425 alabaster marble arches. Continue to the Jewish Quarter to visit the oldest Synagogue in southern Spain, the sculpture honoring Moses Ben Maimomides and the Plaza of Judah Levi. Tonight,
enjoy a lovely dinner at one of the many popular restaurants found alongside the Mosque. (B & D)
Day 4 - Cordoba
This morning, your guide will pick you up and continue your tour of this beautiful city with a visit to the "Alcazar" the Moorish palace and gardens where great Jewish and Moorish minds once met. After lunch, a driver will take you to Medina de Azahara in the outskirts
of Cordoba. Your guide will greet you there and take you on a fascinating tour of the remains and historical ruins of the once large palace and city built by the Caliphs from the Omeya Dynasty. After you return to Cordoba, relax. Rest of the day on your own. (B & L)
Day 5 - Marbella
This morning, head on south to the "Costa del Sol," a favorite destination, not only for the Spanish, but for the international traveler as well. Your train will take you to Malaga. Here you'll be transferred to Marbella, a lively white town by the sea. Relax and
enjoy your lovely accommodations. Day on your own. Step out tonight and enjoy a lovely dinner by the lively old quarter. (B & D)
Day 6 - Marbella - Granada - Marbella
Today, you'll be driven to beautiful Granada, the great Moorish and Jewish center of the arts and learning. Your guide will meet you by the Alhambra Gardens. Tour the magnificent Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, summer home to both Caliphs and Kings. Visit the sites where
Jewish poets, philosophers, scientists and statesmen made their outstanding contributions during the Jewish Golden Age of Spain. Continue with a tour of the former medieval part of this city and the Palace (today a great museum) developed by King Charles V. This will be
followed by the "Albaicin," the former Jewish and Gypsy Quarter. Enjoy a lovely lunch before returning to Marbella. (B & L)
Day 7 - Marbella - Malaga - Marbella
Visit the historical city of Malaga, one of the oldest ports in southern Spain. Today. a guide from the growing Jewish community will share with you their efforts in preserving Spain's Jewish legacy. After lunch, return to Marbella where you can relax and do some last minute
shopping before returning home. (B & L)
Day 8 - Your driver will pick you at your hotel and take you to Malaga's International Airport for your flight back home. (B)
